Known Issues¶
- CascadingJoin: Very complex join scenarios may timeout on models with 100k+ elements (workaround: process in smaller sections)
- Schedule Excel: Some calculated parameters may not import correctly (manual fix required)
- Revit 2026.1: Minor UI scaling issue on 4K displays (Revit API limitation)

Upgrade Guide¶
From 1.2.x to 1.3.0¶
Before upgrading: 1. Save all open Revit projects 2. Close Revit completely 3. Note your license key (in case reactivation needed)
After upgrading: 1. Launch Revit and verify NeroScale tab appears 2. Check license status (should carry over automatically) 3. Test new CascadingJoin tool on sample project 4. Try new Add Shared Parameters tool
Breaking changes: - None - fully backward compatible
From 1.1.x to 1.2.x¶

- Click the License button
- Your version number is shown at the top

Automatic updates (if enabled): - NeroScale checks for updates weekly - You'll see a notification when updates are available - Click "Update Now" to download and install
Manual updates: 1. Visit your NeroScale account portal 2. Download the latest installer 3. Close Revit 4. Run the installer 5. Restart Revit
Update Notifications¶
You'll be notified of: - Major updates (e.g., 1.3.0): New features, significant changes - Minor updates (e.g., 1.2.5): Improvements and bug fixes - Critical updates: Security or stability fixes (recommended immediately)
